Sleepy Hollow Athletics Home of the Horsemen

On Thursday, December 3rd, 2009, the Sleepy Hollow Varsity Wrestling team had an away match against Yonkers. With great wrestling all around, the Horsemen were able to get a win by the score of 54-21. Sleepy Hollow came into this match coming off a huge win over Eastchester and the Horsemen showed they could follow a big win with another big win. The Horsemen jumped out to an early lead against Yonkers with big wins by freshmen Edwin Jimenez and Steven Bencosme. Once they were up 24-0 the Horsemen never looked back. Sleepy Hollow’s next match is Wednesday, December 9th away at Brewster. This match is the start of the dual meet tournament, so come out and support the Horsemen.
