Varsity Baseball

On Tuesday, May 26th, the Varsity Baseball team finished up their regular season with an exciting 9-8 win at Ardsley. The Horsemen were able to put some runs on the board with RBI hits from Ronnie Rodriguez, Nick Fanelli, Yuniel Santana, John Randazzo, and Chris Lopez. Fanelli also added 3 runs scored while Dionel Infante went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored in his varsity debut. Armondo Cabrera was backed by a strong defensive effort and controlled Ardsley for 6 strong innings. After a little trouble in the bottom of the 7th, senior Dan Kaplan closed the game out striking out Ardsley’s best hitter. The team gets a big momentum win going into the opening round of Sectionals which will be played Thursday, May 27th. Opponent and site to be announced.
