UNDEFEATED! On Thursday, April 19th, the Sleepy Hollow pioneer basketball team defeated Fox Lane/Ardsley with a final score of 27-17. It was one of of tightest games of the season, but the players came together with GREAT passing from Bryan Cabreja and GREAT defense from Carlos Reyes Rojas – scoring for the team was Manny Rodriguez, Molly Leavey, and Andrew Kozak with 2 each, Brandon Cooper with 10 points (this includes 2, 3 point shots) and our high scorer of the game…Brenda Alfaro with a whopping 11 points, including a 3 pointer from downtown at the end of the game!
Our next game (and this is our very last home game for the year) will be Wednesday, 4/25/12 – please come out and support this amazing team (and we always cheer for our opponents too!) – we even provide fan gear!
