Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse

Sleepy Hollow fought strong as they defeated Keio 14-0 on Saturday, April 28th.  This was Leah Morales’ first shutout of her career.  She finished the game with 4 saves and a 100% save percentage for the day.  Goal scoring had a nice balance for the Horsemen, showing that any team member can contribute on any given day.  Melissa Smutek & In-hye Erstling led scoring for the day with 3 goals.  Melissa also had 2 assists.  Lauren Chin had a career high of 2 goals and 1 assist.  Jennifer Angevine had 2 goals, and Maggie Schnog, Angela Martello, Alexis Bateman and Anna Oliva all had a goal.  Anna, Maggie, Angela, and Jen each had an assist for Sleepy.  The team has shown its revival and will face its top competitor, Pelham, at home on Monday, April 30th @ 4:30pm.  Come check us out!
