Varsity Baseball

Sleepy Hollow Baseball lost a tough one on Thursday, May 12th at Croton by a score of 2-0. Edwin Lebron pitched an incredible game allowing 0 earned runs while striking out 9. Sleepy Hollow has a double header this Saturday @ Alexander Hamilton at 11am and home vs Dobbs Ferry at 3:30pm..

JV Baseball

On Tuesday, May 10th, the JV baseball team won a close one 2-1 versus Westlake. The Horsemen won behind the pitching of Inmer Rosado who had a complete game letting up the lone run and striking out 10. The runs were driven in by Aaron Ippolito and Nick Arduino during a 2 run 5th inning. Next up for the team is a home game vs. Croton on Thursday, May 12th.

Varsity Baseball

The Sleepy Hollow varsity baseball team lost on Tuesday, May 10th in a rematch with Westlake by a score of 11-3. Armando Cabrera gave another strong pitching performance, but received little defensive support. The Horseman will look to turn things around on Thursday, May 12th at Croton-Harmon.

Modified Baseball

Tuesday May 10, 2011 – The Sleepy Hollow Modified Baseball Team defeated Briarcliff 4-3. The game was halted in the bottom of the 5th inning due to the field curfew rule. The next contest will be played Wednesday, May 11th at Croton.

JV Baseball

On Monday, May 9th, the JV baseball team lost a tough one to Briarcliff 11-5. The score was 11-0 after the 4th inning, and showed a lot of heart to hold them the rest of the way, and put on 5 runs to make it interesting. Adam Rosenbloom led the team offensively going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, a triple, and an RBI. Next up is Westlake on Tuesday, May 10th at home.

JV Baseball

On Friday the JV baseball team beat Westlake 3-1 behind 5 strong innings from Alec Stoll who also added a 2 run double. The team fought hard and ended the game on a bases loaded, 2 out, 3-2 count strikeout by Adam Rosenbloom. Other standouts included defensive play by Jason Martinez, and a 3 for 3 day by Nicky Arduino. Next is Briarcliff away on Monday, May 9th.

Friday May 6, 2011 – The Sleepy Hollow Modified Baseball team defeated Pleasantville 5-1. The next game will be played Tuesday, May 10th at Losee Park against Briarcliff.

Sleepy Hollow lost to defending State Champion Valhalla on Thursday, May 5th by a score of 16-8. Dionel Infante hit a grand slam for the Horseman. The Horseman play at Losee Park on Friday, May 6th at 7pm vs West Lake.

Sleepy Hollow Varsity Baseball defeated Solomon Schecter yesterday 6-1, behind the arm of Armando Cabrera. Cabrera pitched a 4-hit, 7 strike out gem. The Horseman won 3 of 4 and will fave Valhalla Wednesday, May 4th at home.
