Varsity Softball

Sleepy Hollow Softball won two games Thursday and Friday. We beat Nanuet on Thursday 6 to 1. Danielle Fanelli and Charlotte Frank each had two hits. Charlotte and Jessica Bucci each had two RBI’s. On Friday we beat Pleasantville 9 to 5. We finished the season (16-4). Deanne Lindsay pitched both wins. She finished with a pitching record of (14-3). Against Pleasantville Jessica Bucci, Allaire Primiano and Charlotte Frank each had two hits. Allaire had three RBI’s and Charlotte had two RBI’s

Sleepy Hollow softball avenged an early season loss yesterday by beating Dobbs Ferry 12 to 1
Raising our record to (14-4). Danielle Fanelli had three hits including a double with 3 RBI’s and 4 runs scored. Deanne Lindsay pitched the win making her record (12-3), she also had three hits and two runs scored. Charlotte Frank had three hits including a double - two RBI’s and a run scored. Olga Thomas had a good day defensively and two hits and two RBI’s

On Monday, May 19th, Sleepy Hollow Softball beat Irvington 8 to 0. The game was led by Deanne Lindsay who pitched a NO HITTER, Danielle Fanelli - 2 Doubles and 3 RBI’s and Jamie Bucci - 3 hits  and two run scored. Also, Deanne Lindsay, Jessica Bucci and Charlotte Frank
each had 2 hits. Sleepy Hollow Softball record is now (13-4). Our next game is on Tuesday, May 20th at home vs. Pleasantville.

Modified Softball

The Modified Softball team enjoyed its second win on Tuesday, May 13th from Woodlands, 12-11. Sandy Morales showed perseverance, keeping her team in the game from the first inning on. Erika Swanson, Alexandra Kendrick, and Cathleyn Marte each had a number of hits. Overall, the team continues to demonstrate skill improvement. Our next game is on Thursday, May 15th at home vs. Pocantico Hills.

Varsity Softball lost to Albertus Magnus on Tuesday, May 13th 6 to 1. Our record is now (12-4). Allaire Primiano started defensively in the loss. Jamie Bucci had a hit and an RBI. Brittany Brand had a hit and a run scored. Our next game is on Monday, May 19th at home vs. Irvington.

Varsity Softball improved to (12 - 3) with a 5 to 3 win at Albertus Magnus High School on Monday, May 12th. The two seniors led the attack - Danielle Fanelli had two hits including a double and a triple and three RBI’s, and Allaire Primiano had two hits and two runs scored.
Deanne Lindsay pitched the win raising her record to (10-2). Jamie Bucci also had two hits and two runs scored. We play Albertus Magnus at home on Tuesday, May 13th.

Sleepy Hollow improved there record to (11-3) with an 11 to 2 victory over Fox Lane on Thursday, May 8th. Jamie Bucci had two hits including a triple, 3 Runs scored and two RBI’s. Olga Thomas had two hits, two Runs scored and two RBI’s. Brittany Brand started defensively with several key plays in center field. Deanne Lindsay improved her record to (9-2) by pitching the win. Our next game is on Friday, May 9th at home vs. Nanuet.

Modified Softball

The Modified Softball team lost to Pocantico Hills on Thursday, May 8th 6-5 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Despite a heartbreaking loss, the team played its best game yet, leading Pocantico in runs for most of the game. Alex Kendrick pitched all 7 innings, striking out seven batters along the way. Taylor Zayas hit a go-ahead homerun in the 6th inning and made a number of crucial plays in the field. Sandy Morales, Mikaila Smith and Allegra Beals all scored at least once for Sleepy. Overall, the Modified Softball team is demonstrating growth and sportsmanship with each successive game. Go Sleepy Hollow! Our next game is on Friday, May 9th at home vs. Dobbs Ferry.

Varsity Softball improved there record to (10-3) with a 5 to 1 victory at Nanuet on Tuesday, May 6th. They were led by Danielle Fanelli with three hits including a double and a triple and three RBI’s. Jamie Bucci had three hits and two runs scored, Allaire Primiano and Deanne Lindsay each had two hits. Deanne Lindsay pitched the win improving her record to (8-2). Our next game is on Thursday, May 8th at home against Fox Lane.

On Thursday, May 1st the Modified Softball team enjoyed its first win, defeating Edgemont 8-7 in the bottom of the 7th inning! Sandy Morales pitched an excellent game with five strikeouts. Taylor Zayas, Noeli Dominguez and Alexandra Kendrick excelled on the defensive end, making key plays throughout the game. Emily Hargatai provided the winning hit in the bottom of the 7th inning. Go team!!! Our next game is on Friday, May 2nd at home against Hastings.
