Sleepy Hollow traveled to Eastchester for their next match on Thursday, May 10th. It was a beautiful day and everyone was excited to play. Alex Dopico and Harley Falasca fought hard in their doubles match but lost a close one. Toby Humm lost in a well played match. Jason Cai fought through a stomach bug to play and valiantly lost to a very skilled opponent. Juan Pablo Loja and Jordan Brown got their 3rd straight win to improve their record to 4-4. Sleepy Hollow tennis will play its next match against Hastings on Friday, May 11th.

Sleepy Hollow Tennis won their second straight match on Monday, Nay 7th, beating Woodlands 5-0. Alex Dopico and Harley Falasca dominated their opponents in a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Tim Frankstone, Toby Humm, and the pair of Jordan Brown and Juan Pablo Loja got their second win each. Both teams fought hard and the team became 2-4.

The Sleepy Hollow tennis team picked up their first win on Friday, April 27th! They defeated Mt.Vernon with a score of 4-1. Jason Cai blanked his opponent in a great effort by both sides. Toby Humm and Tim Frankstone each picked up their first win as well. In doubles, Juan Pablo Loja and Jordan Brown won their first match in first singles. The team was jubilant to get a win and look to keep the momentum.

Sleepy Hollow tennis had their fourth match in White Plains on Thursday, April 19th. Even though the roster was short, the team fought hard. Juan Pablo Loja and Jordan Brown filled in at first singles and lost in a tough one. Jason Cai was handed his first loss in a heart-breaker. Toby Humm and Tim Frankstone also faced very skilled opponents and fell a bit short. The tennis team is getting better after every match and has a good future ahead of them. Our next match is on Thursday, April 26th at Eastchester.

Sleepy Hollow tennis traveled to Slomon Schecter for their third match on Wednesday, April 18th. Tim Frankstone and Toby Humm both lost in very close matches. Jason Cai improved his record to 3-0 in a hard fought match. The team of Harley Falasca and Alex Dopico lost in a “Super Tie Breaker”, both teams played very hard. Congratulations to both sides. Our next match is on Thursday, April 19th at White Plains.

The Sleepy Hollow tennis team had their first match against Ardsley on Monday, april 2nd. All the players played well. Jason Cai was victorious in the season opener, winning in straight sets. Toby Humm played very well against a very tough opponent but lost in a close match. The doubles tandem of Alex Dopico and Harley Falasca fought back after losing the first set and lost in a nailbiting third set. The team looks to improve their record against Irvington on April 4th.

On April 27th 2011, the Sleepy Hollow Varsity Tennis team played home against Croton Harmon. It was a beautiful sunny day and everyone was really excited to play. The boys did, once again, a brilliant job by winning 3-2 against one of the strongest teams in their league. Our next match is on Friday, May 6th at Ossining.

On May 3rd 2011, the Sleepy Hollow Varsity Tennis Team played away against Croton Harmon. This was the game that was re-scheduled 2 weeks ago because of the rain. The Sleepy Hollow players once again showed them that they were in it to win it and so they did. The final score was 3-2 for Sleepy Hollow.

On May 2nd 2011, the Sleepy Hollow Varsity Tennis Team played away against Rye Neck. Sleepy Hollow won against this strong team when they played home but this time Rye Neck was stronger. The final score was 2-3 for Rye Neck.

On April 29th 2011, the Sleepy Hollow Varsity Tennis Team played away against Pleasantville HS. The boys did a great job by going to tiebrake in almost every game, but Pleasantville was stronger. The final score was 1-4. Our next match is on Friday, May 6th at Ossining.
