Modified Volleyball

In our second win of the season, on Thursday, September 25th the Lady Horseman volleyball team trampled Rye Neck, in 3 straight games. Excellent serving by Abby Titcomb, Stephanie Klami, and Cheyanne Garcia. Key plays were also made by Caitlyn O’Donnell, Elsa Veras, Annie Warren, Alex Kendrick, Kimberly Quispe and Danielle Rjeili. This team hustled today and worked hard to get a great win! We are now 2-0! Great job ladies! Come out and support us at out next game - home against Pocantico Hills on Thursday, Octobe 2nd.

In our season opener, the Lady Horsemen defeated Solomon Schecter 2 games to 1. Great serving by Stephanie Klami, Ellen Glover, Claire Royston, Briggie Hinge and Marisa Barbera. Great passing by Kimberly Quispe, Abby Titcomb and Alex kendrick. It was a great team effort overall and everyone really hustled - nice job ladies! Come out and support the lady Horseman at their first home game this Wednesday, September 24th at WI.

Sleepy Hollow Girls Volleyball finished up their amazing season with a win over Hastings on Thursday, November 1st. Everyone played great. Congratulations on a job VERY WELL DONE!

The Girls Volleyball Team trampeled Mamaroneck on Tuesday, October 30th winning all 3 games. Rallying for points with great serves were Marina Tramontelli and Abbey Titcomb. Key plays were made by Alina Tolentino, Roslyn Glover and Genesis Martinez. VERY WELL DONE LADIES! Come out for our last game of the season as we take on Hastings on Thursday, November 1st at home at Washington Irving.

The Lady Horsemen Modified Volleyball Team stunned Westlake when they took all 3 games on Monday, October 29th. The girls really hustled for the ball and we had incredible serving by Abbey Titcomb. Also making key plays were Kerry Evans, Michaela Smith, Leidy Suero and Emily Geiger. The entire team shined with Horseman Pride - well done!  Come out and support the girls’ volleyball team as we take on Mamroneck on Tuesday, October 30th at home at Washington Irving.

In the tightest 2 games of the season, Sleepy Hollow lost to Ardsley 2 games to 1 on Friday, October 26th. Game 1 was 28-27 with Ardsley winning and Game 2 was 27-26 with Sleepy Hollow winning. Game 3 was taken by Ardsley as we had a tough time receiving their serve. The girls played awesome games with great plays and I am proud of their efforts. Earning key points through their serves were Abby Titcomb, Emily Geiger and Noeli Dominguez. Key plays during the game were also made by Kerry Evans and Marisa Barbera. Great team effort ladies! Lets get ready as we take on Westlake on Monday, October 29th at WI!

Despite great serving by Marina Tramontelli, Briggie Hinge and Leidy Suero, Sleepy Hollow lost 2-1 against Portchester on Wednesday, October 24th. The girls lost the first 2 games (one close game, one a not quite as close as we are used to), but pulled together for a win in the 3rd game - I continue to be proud of their efforts and hope to finish off our season with 4 more wins! Come out and join us as we take on:

Ardsley, 10/26 - away
Westlake, 10/29 - home
Mamaroneck - 10/30 - home
Hastings - 11/1 - home.

In yet another tight match, The Sleepy Hollow Modified Girls’ Volleyball Team pulled together for a win over the Hastings Hornets. Making key plays to earn the Lady Horsemen points were: Briggie Hinge, Kerry Evans, Mikaela Smith and Emily Geiger. Once again it was a great team effort and the girls rocked Hastings world! Come out and support us at our next game on 10/24 at Portchester - thanks again.

In their second match of the season against Irvington, the modified girls’ volleyball team walked away with another win over the Lady Bulldogs. Great serving by Genesis Martinez and Briggie Hinge. Key plays were also made by Stephanie Klami, Megan Maher and Karla Ferreiras. Job well done ladies! Ms. Berry loves you! In a tight match Sleepy Hollow defeated Portchester 2 games to 1. Clinching the win was great serving from Veronica Polanco and Noeli Dominguez. Key plays were made by Marisa Barbera, Anna Ferreiras and Alina Tolentino. The team really pulled together for the great win - way to go girls. Our next game is on Tuesday October 2nd at vs. Ardsley.
