JV Boys’ Lacrosse

Friday May 15th the boys junior varsity played against the Pirates of Pearl River. The score at half was 1-7 Pearl River, but the horsemen did not give up, they fought their way back until the last second of the game where they unfortunately fell short. Pioneer League

This past Saturday, May 16th, 4 of our Sleepy Hollow Pioneer athletes competed at the Hudson Valley Special Olympics Spring Games track and field event at Brewster High School. Varsity Boys’ Track

The boys’ track team competed at the Westchester County Championship this past Saturday, May 16th. Nick Carraro placed 8th in the shot put and Alex Guzzo competed in the 100 meter dash. Our next meet is Thursday, May 21st @ Tappan Zee. We are competing in the Class B Championships.

Varsity Girls’ Track

Congratulations to Westchester’s number one long and triple jumper, Genevieve Ruppel. Genevieve won both the long and triple jump at the Westchester County Championships on Saturday, May 16th. She also jumped her personal best in the triple jump with a leap of 36’4.”

Varsity Softball

Sleepy Hollow Softball lost to Albertus Magnus on Thursday, May 14th by a score of 11 to 2. Brittany Brand and Charlette Frank each had a hit and a run scored. Kathy Perez had a hit and an RBI. Our next games is on Monday at home vs. Putnam Valley.

On Wednesday, May 13th Sleepy Hollow Softball beat Hasting 4 to 3 raising our record to (9-7). Deanne Lindsay pitched the win allowing only 3 hits while striking out 7. Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse
