The Headless Horsemen improved their record to 8-2 with a 72-69 victory over Saunders High School on January 11th. Justin Best led all scorers with 28 points. On Tuesday, January 12th, the Sleepy Hollow Boy’s Modified Basketball team dropped a tough game to a talented Eastchester team 64-42. Once again, Nick Arduino led all scorers, while Dominik Onwe grabbed 13 rebounds. Sleepy Hollow’s next game is Friday, January 15th at Hastings.

On Friday, January 8th, the Boys’ Modified Basketball team played rival Irvington in a closely contested battle. In the end, Sleepy Hollow fell a bit short 52-43. Nick Arduino scored a team high 12 points, while Dominik Onwe grabbed 15 rebounds. Sleepy Hollow faces Eastchester on Tuesday, January 12th.

The modified wrestling team traveled to Scarsdale on January 12th and faced three very tough teams – Scarsdale, Woodlands and Mt. Vernon. On Monday January 11th at the Ice Hutch in Mt. On January 11th the JV Horsemen defeated a talented Saunders team. The Horsemen were led by Christian Berenguer with a season high 26 points. Ronnie Rodriguez added 16 points and 12 rebounds in the effort. The JV Horsemen continue their 8-0 record with a game January 13th against Woodlands at 4:15pm in the McCleery Gymnasium.
