Stapler: A Personification Poem
By Cris, Manny and Jessica
I can stitch paper together
Like a doctor stitching patients.
I have sharp, metal teeth
That bite through the paper.
I eat lots of paper at one time
Like a baby shoving Cheerios in his mouth.
I am a stapler.

Your group did an amazing job using personification to make an ordinary object like a stapler come to life! I especially like the part where you said it stitches paper together like a doctor.
I will never think staplers are “ordinary” again!
