My Keychain
A Memoir by Samantha
One day my Mom and Dad said that we were going to Disney World. “Aaaahh! Yippee! Yippee!†I was so excited.
When we got there it was 4:00 but my Dad said that we should go shopping and we went. I saw a bunch of keychains. My Mom and Dad said that I could have one.
It was hard picking just one! Then I saw a perfect one! It has the Cinderella castle and Mickey Mouse on it!
After, we went to the car. When I tried to close the door I rolled out and then I lost my keychain. “I am so mad!†I said. But my Mom said that she would buy a new one!
She bought me one and I was so happy. It was the same one. I was so lucky!
My sister also had one. It has Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Pluto, and Donald Duck and Daisy. My brother had a skeleton from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
But I love my keychain best of all!
Samantha, you should be so proud of your memoir! It is wonderful! My favorite part is when you are yelling “Aaaah! Yippee! Yippee!” in the beginning. I can tell how excited you were to be going on the special trip.
