Pencil Sharpener
A Personification Poem By Arianna and Payge
The pencil sharpener gulps up wood from the pencil.
YUM! YUM!
Pencil sharpener wants more. “I WANT MORE!”
The handle from the pencil sharpener rolls all around
Like a person somersaulting.

Music
An Onomatopoeia Poem by Arianna
“Stomp, stomp” go the feet down the stairs to Mrs. G’s room.

“La, la, la” we start singing.
“Whoosh! Whoosh!”
We sing, “RESPECT” our concert song.

Lalalala…

Wintertime is Here
By Arianna
“Splat!”
A snowball goes whizzing through the air
and into my face
“Crasssh!” COLD!
Blizzard snow flies through the air
into my eyes
“aaaahhhh!”
“Mmmm…”
Hot chocolate goes swimming
through my mouth
into my belly.
“Smell that!”
Chocolate chip cookies
But it smells like vanilla too.
Whoa! Ice skating is hard!
“Kkkkkeeeee, wooosh, boom!”
“Oh no!”
