My dad and his girlfriend are going to be married. Then when they get married I am going to be a stepbrother and have a step-mom.

My step-mom and dad let me play the game “”Scarface” sometimes. I can play the game, and he lets me play the computer all the time and I play every day.

When Ally has a control and I say “Please give me the control” and she doesn’t give me the control I told her, “Do you want a cake?” and then she gives me the control.

I tricked her and I was so happy. I got to watch TV in the room and by myself.

When it was morning I woke up and I saw my dad playing the game, but when I woke up he let me play.

In the afternoon I was listening to Chris Brown and T-Pain “Kiss Kiss.”

I like playing games. Dad’s house is one of my favorite places.

A Memoir By Marbelin, Terance, Areily and Eric

One Friday in October our friends in our class went to go pumpkin picking.

The bus ride was fun because we got to talk to a friend next to us in the place we were sitting. Some boys were singing in the back and making us laugh. The back was also fun because it was so bumpy!

We finally got there! We had to pick pumpkins that fit in the bucket. Some big pumpkins were heavy!

When we got our pumpkins we had to weigh it and put it in the bag. My pumpkin was 5 pounds!

When we got back to school we had a pumpkin party. We painted the pumpkins, we made it float, ate pumpkin pie, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin muffins! They were so delicious!

That day was awesome, great, and cool. We were happy and never wanted to leave!

A Memoir By Emma

On July 1st 2007 it was when I went in the car because we were going to Lake George. It took two hours but it felt like four hours and all I saw were trees.

Mom was driving. I was playing. I was playing with my toy dog and cat. I brought stuff for my toy cat and dog. We got food at the rest stop. We had Subway.

I slept until we got into the town. We went to Mom’s friend’s house. Then we went in the car to Lake George. We bought a dreamcatcher.

We went to the booth to get tickets. We waited and waited. “Let’s go mom!” I said. We got tickets for the Mini Ha-Ha. It started to rain and then it stopped. We passed the fog and it was fun.

The Mini Ha-Ha is a big, huge boat that gives people tours around the Lake. It is very famous because it has been around for a long time.

It has the special wheel that makes it move. It splashes water around. “Splash! Splash!”

We went home. We had a thrilling time. Now I still use my dreamcatcher from Lake George.

On Thanksgiving I got my new dog. He is very small with brown and black fur. It’s a girl but we haven’t named her.

Another interesting thing was that my Dad’s birthday was on Thanksgiving. We had a party outside because it was warm.

We ate a cake that had “Happy Thanksgiving” AND “Happy Birthday” on it. We ate turkey.

I saw the parade on T.V. My favorite part was when the girls danced with candy. They looked like peppermints.

My dad got me a special jumprope on Thanksgiving and a diary and he got a baby who talks.

I liked when the girl sings at the party. My dog was with the girl and she was holding the dog. My dog was perfect. My dad was also so, so, so, so happy!

On Thanksgiving my aunts and uncle came. It was also me and my mom and cousins. We cooked and we had a huge feast!

When I was cooking it smelled like turkey, cornbread and brownies in the kitchen.

My favorite food was the corn. It was awesome. I loved it.

I saw this table full of stuff! I almost wanted all of the food in one gulp! I tasted the muffins, corn, turkey, cornbread, and brownies.

There was lots of talking at the table. It was peaceful that day and I watched the parade. It was enjoyable.

I played outside with my cousins. We played games, soccer, jumprope, and chess and volleyball. We played so much it was exciting.

I went to sleep and dreamed about the next Thanksgiving.

When I was playing baseball the guy threw the ball and it hit my tooth.

It hurt a lot! I fell in the sand in the park. I caught the ball and threw it to first base. The guy was out. “We won!”

I went to look for my tooth. It looked just like the sun so I put it in my pocket.

It looked like the sun because the blood and sand turned it orangey and it mixed with the sand. It looked cool so I thought, “Let me put it in my pocket and under my pillow.”

But the next day I forgot and I put it in the wash!

I remember a time when I went to Pennsylvania. I was five years old. It took a long time to get there! I played video games and I fell asleep for four hours.

When I got there we went to Sesame Street Place. I was with my cousin, my sister, and my aunt and my mom.

Sesame Street Place is a theme park that has water rides and dry rides. I went on lots of rides.

My favorite ride was the Rubber Ducky ride. The line was soooo long. We told someone so we can go on the ride faster.

I took pictures with Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Big Bird.

I ate hot dogs and ice cream and my sister ate a cheeseburger and ice cream and my cousin ate a hot dog too.

It was dark so we had to go back to the hotel. When we got there we fell asleep. I dreamed that I was with my dad.

I went to Georgia last summer and it took two whole days to drive there! “Mom… can I have a juicebox?” I asked during the ride.

At last we were there. “Hey Mom! There’s Brianna’s aunts house!” I said.

I met my cousin named Courtney. She is excited and goofy like me. Courtney has long brown hair. She is eight.

We went in the pool at the hotel. We played in the pool. “Splash!” We were laughing a lot. “Marco!” I said. “Polo!” said Courtney in the big pool. It was awesome playing water tag!

I joked all day and all night till I fell down. Joking is awesome to me every day and every night.

My toy bus is seven years old. That’s as old as me! I wanted to play with it on the way home. I played with it since that day I opened it.

It helps me remember when I was a baby liking cars. I started liking buses. Then I liked trucks and then cars.

I had about fifteen cars. I made traffic jams with cars and trucks and buses and my first bus. It made noises on wood and tile. It sounded like this, “Vvreshhhtsh!”

I whished around with it. I made it get into an accident. It went CRASH! BANG! BOOM! BONG!
I made policemen and firemen come in a rush! Shhh! Shhh! Motorcycles drove through it.

A Memoir by Noel

I went to Hershey Park during the summer and it was me, my aunt and my cousins too.

I saw a candy machine filled with jaw breakers. “Wow, I want one!” I said to my aunty. She gave me a quarter and I got it.

I took a bite and suddenly my tooth came out of my mouth. I felt sad. My aunty gave me a ziplock bag and I put it inside.

After I lost my tooth I went on a roller coaster called the Boat Dragon. It was a little scary but fun. My cousins went on a hot air balloon ride. I’m afraid of heights so I didn’t go on it.

I also went on the Water Boat. I had to wear a bathing suit because there’s lots of splashes and waves that get you all wet. The boat moves all around.

When I got home I put the tooth under my pillow. I fell asleep and when I woke up I found twenty bucks! I felt so happy!

My day at Hershey Park was so much fun!

I remember when it was my birthday and my dad and mom forgot that it was my birthday so I felt so sad that they forgot.

But then, my mom told my dad and she said to him, “We did not forget our daughter’s birthday!”

So I went to sleep and when I woke up my mom and dad came into my room and brought chocolate cake to me and then they sang “Happy Birthday.”

Then they gave me a hamster for my birthday!

I said, “You guys didn’t forget my birthday!” They said “No!” And I was so happy.

My memory is about a special day when I went to New York City with my mom, dad, my sister, and my brother. It was so awesome!

I hear the beeps of traffic and I could see lots of people and little peanut or hot dog stands around me! I smell the smoke from cigarettes.

We went to a carpet shop to see some carpets. I saw a silver one and it was really awesome.

Then we went to lunch! We had Chinese food. YUM! I ordered dumplings and pasta. It was delicious!

After that, we just went walking around some more. I love to walk around New York City. It was a fabulous day.

My family went to Ohio on Thanksgiving. It took seven hours to get there. I love football, it is my favorite sport! So for Thanksgiving my family watched the big game.

No one from my family likes Michigan. Everyone likes Ohio State because my family is from Ohio.

When Illinois beat them they went down to fifth place. “This stinks!” we thought. Then LSU was number one and I was so sad! Boooo! Booo!

But Arkansas beat LSU in overtime. I was amazed! “Holy cow!” I shouted. That was a very big upset!

Now Ohio State is number two and now I am so happy! “Yes! Yes!” When LSU lost I victory danced, “Ya! Ya!”

One day my Mom and Dad said that we were going to Disney World. “Aaaahh! Yippee! Yippee!” I was so excited.

When we got there it was 4:00 but my Dad said that we should go shopping and we went. I saw a bunch of keychains. My Mom and Dad said that I could have one.

It was hard picking just one! Then I saw a perfect one! It has the Cinderella castle and Mickey Mouse on it!

After, we went to the car. When I tried to close the door I rolled out and then I lost my keychain. “I am so mad!” I said. But my Mom said that she would buy a new one!

She bought me one and I was so happy. It was the same one. I was so lucky!

My sister also had one. It has Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Pluto, and Donald Duck and Daisy. My brother had a skeleton from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
But I love my keychain best of all!

I went to Milwaukee. It took six hours. It was long! The trip was for my birthday.

I went in a jazz club. It was so cool when they sang “Happy Birthday” with their trumpets and their tapshoes!

They had a vanilla cake with sprinkles.

There was also an amusement park we went to. There it had a pool. I did flips. Somebody said, “Incredible dude!” The pool was ten feet.

When we were there my brother gave me a punching bag. It was a super trip!

A Memoir by Willa

When my brother Lucas was born I was so excited! My Daddy and I went to the store to get him some presents. We got a little bathtub toy whale and a froggy mirror.

Then we went to Phelps Hospital. Phelps is a hospital in Tarrytown. I was born there too.
My Mommy was there for two and a half days! A nurse gave my Mommy a huge bowl of bad tasting oatmeal.

A friend of Mommy’s and mine babysat me. Her name is favorite Sara. Her name is favorite Sara because she is the closest person named Sara that I know.

We took Lucas home in the car after the two and a half days. After a couple of weeks my Mommy and Daddy named him Lucas. I wanted to name him Exodus! I kept arguing, “No! I want his name to be Exodus!”

Me and Daddy’s last name is Odefey. My Mommy’s last name is Brandenberg. But Lucas’ last name is Anton because my Mommy and my Daddy didn’t think Odefey was right.

When Lucas first came home I was so jealous but I didn’t say so. Then I realized he was so cute because he kept kicking his feet in the air and waving his little hands.
Four years later… Lucas is so annoying! He is also very fun. He is a tough boy too. I love Lucas and he loves me!

When it was my birthday I was getting ready to start my birthday. The first friend that walked in was Rebecca. Then, my friend Lena and all my friends came.

My cake for my birthday was ice cream. It was vanilla ice cream and a lit bit of sprinkles. Mom put one candle in it. It was YUMMY!

I was turning seven years old. All of my friends went to my room. I got two Webkinz. There was a Yorkie and a pig. The pig was named Cookie and the Yorkie was named Sugar.

I got a gift from my sister too. It was a bag so when I go to tap I can put my things in there. The bag is big. It has dogs from Paris and it is black and pink and white.

My birthday party was over so I ate pizza when all my friends went home. It was so fun when it was my birthday!
