I am cute as a cat with pink, soft yarn.

I am nice as a kitten crawling in my lap.

I am fun as a monkey eating a banana.

I am fast as a mouse running away from a cat.

I can act like a dog and say, “woof, woof!”

I am friendly as an ant helping another with its food.

I am swimmy as a fish swishing its tail.

I am as sweet as chocolate kisses getting eaten.

I am sparkly as the sun waking up.

I am happy like a bee saying, “buzz, buzz.”

I am funny like an ape swinging from a vine.

I am smart like a mathematician and a scientist studying things.

I can’t fly like a bird flying in the breeze.

I can hop like a rabbit getting carrots.

I am slow like a snail losing a race.

I can read like a book worm learning things.

Wolves look like dogs.  They have black and brown fur.  Wolves live in forests, grasslands, mountains, and swamps.  Wolves eat other animals.  Wolves sound like a dog when it barks and howls.  Wolves can hunt and run very fast.  An interesting fact about wolves is they can hunt and they are sometimes called a wolf dog.

First, you get your poetry book.  Then, you go to the poetry table.  Next, you pull up a chair.  Then, you get the poetry paper.  After that, you get glue.  Then, you glue in the back of the paper.  Then, you look at the paper that has your center color.  Finally, when the bell rings you put your poetry book away.

Hannah’s Podcast

I love my cat. I love my cat because she is nice and good. She is black and white. She likes to play with me and snuggle with me too. Her name is Gracey. I love her very, very, very much! She eats cat food three times a day. Gracey is very, very, very special to me!
