My Ideal Holiday - Deborah

My ideal Christmas would be waking up at an elegant hotel in New York City and knowing that my wonderful family is there.I would choose New York City because it’s vibrant with life. At night I would be able to see the colorful lights that illuminate it, through the perfect view in my hotel room. In addition, the huge, colorful Christmas tree is located there with a beautiful ice rink where you can ice skate. On the afternoon of Christmas Eve, my family and I would dine at a gorgeous restaurant to enjoy a delectable meal. We all would be served white rice, cheesy lasagna, soft, mashed potatoes with a pinch of cilantro, a warm, roasted, oven gold chicken, and a salad with ranch dressing. However, before we start eating we would say prayers honoring God’s birthday and for being able to be together. After a relaxing dinner and conversations, we would take a walk to visit the magnificent Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. My cousin Mary and I would skate on the white, smooth ice rink. I would be the most contented because it’s one of my favorite sports. We would be skating freely like birds flying thorough the blue sky. In addition, we would perform some tricks for our family such as swizzles, which is like a rocking chair moving front and back.Afterwards, we all would return to the hotel and exchange gifts with each other.  I would be receiving an Apple laptop, a silver camera, and clothing from the Gap, Limited Too or Justice. Most of my clothes would be baby blue since that’s my favorite color.Later on, we would read the holiday cards we received out loud and show our gifts to each other. In addition, we would tell jokes and entertain ourselves. Simply stated, we would just enjoy family time together at the elegant hotel. The most important thing to me is the quality time with my family and that would make it perfect!
