There will be “No Hoofprints meeting today”. Mr. Baxter would like just the four of us to meet but today does not work for Jenny and is not great for me so we have to make A time the first week of ’08 to do this.
Also, please “ANYONE WHO HAS NOT RECEIVE THE NEW ISSUE OF HOOFPRINTS, PLEASE STOP BY MS. LANGSTON’S ROOM 26N AND GET ONE” THANKS SO MUCH!

Congratulations to coach Tompkins and his team of wrestlers who beat Beacon to advance to the elite 8 which are the top 8 teams in Section 1. They wrestle against Fox Lane tomorrow. Keep up the great work!!

There will be a meeting for all those students interested in working on Shadows and Substance, the literary magazine on Tuesday, December 18th at 3:00 pm in Room 22W. All are invited.
All students are encouraged to submit pieces of writing and /or artwork for this year’s literary magazine. Envelopes are posted in all English classrooms.

Mandatory Blythedale meeting on Tuesday, 12/18, in Ms. Peltier’s Room 11C. All must attend!
If you want to attend the trip on Friday you must attend tomorrow’s meeting.

Attention Seniors applying to college – You must see your counselor today if you not yet spoken to your counselor about a January 1st deadline for college applications.

The High School Winter Concert is this Tuesday at 7:30 pm at Washington Irving. All High School orchestra students need to arrive at 6:30 pm and report to the Washington Irving cafeteria. Please remember that YOU MUST take instruments home on Monday!!

All students in the grade that collects the most food will receive one community service credit.

Congratulations to the girl’s track team for their outstanding performance during Saturday’s track meet. Genevieve Ruppel placed 2nd in the long jump and Andrea Geiger placed 4th in the 300 meters. Nice job by all athletes.

Students who wish to contribute writing or artwork for this year’s Style and Substance literary magazine may place them in envelopes posted in their English classrooms beginning this week.
In addition, there will be a brief meeting for those interested in working on the literary magazine on Tuesday, December 11th at 3:00 pm in Room 22W.

Attention Skiers/Boarders – December 10 is fast approaching! Please hand in all deposits for the weekend trip. Tell your friends, let’s get this going!! See Ms. Noll in 28S for more info or drop off. Think snow!

The Multimedia Team will be conducting a Gaming Competition Fundraiser on Friday, 12/7 from 3 PM to 8 PM.
It will be held in the North Hall. Have fun playing Guitar Hero, Dance Revolution, Homerun Derby and Need for Speed: Carbon for $5.
You can also enter the Madden or Super Smash Tournaments ($6 per tournament/double elimination)
