Announcements for Friday, Day 2

Attention current juniors:
Your senior class officer for next year are: President – Devan Campbell, Vice President – Nicole London, Secretary – Shakira Watson, Treasurer – Eddie Brady. Congratulations to all winners and please meet in Ms. Madani’s room at the end of today for a brief meeting.

Congratulations to Genevieve Ruppel for placing 2nd in her division and 3rd overall at the track and field state qualifier. Genevieve jumped her best, 17′ 4.25.” Genevieve will be competing at the New York State Track and Field meet in Buffalo June 13th. She is the first female athlete to qualify for the state meet in the last 20 years!

All students taking the mock regents tomorrow are to report at 9:00 in front of the high school main entrance.
Students who are taking the Chem Mock regents are reminded to bring their reference tables and calculators.

Today is the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces. It is also Upstanders Day for Human Rights.
High School Students from the Global 10 and Contemporary Issues classes, as well as Model UN Club members have created posters for an awareness campaign about Human Rights violations around the world. Please take the time to look at the information presented in the Upper West and North halls today and tomorrow.
