Attention all Seniors:
Please go to Guidance and look at the scholarship board. There are a number of scholarships available and the deadlines are fast approaching.

Attention all students:
The Stone Barns Center has openings available for the following positions:
Summer Day Camp Counselor and Farm Camp – Counselor In Training.
The CIT is a volunteer position and a great way to meet your community service requirement.
Interested? Go to Guidance and complete applications which are located on the NEWS bulletin board.
All students participating in the Talent Show MUST see either Mr. Spirelli (Room 217W) or Ms. Bellantoni (Room 321W) by Wednesday February 11th to finalize their acts. Anyone that does not finalize their acts by then will not be able to participate.

Announcements for Wednesday, Day 5
The officers of the National Honor Society have a meeting in 319W at 3:00 pm today, Wednesday with Mrs. Rosenwasser.
The African-American Heritage Club will meet on Thursday, at 3:05 p.m. in Room 307 West. All are urged to attend this very important meeting.
There will be a meeting for all Great Potential Members with Dr. Burton on Thursday, at 7:45 a.m. in the College and Career Center in the Guidance Area.
Lost and found: Some one left a small gold colored cosmetic purse at the Dance last Saturday. Please see Mrs. Mimi Lorador in the main office to claim it.
3 pairs (prescription) eye glasses were found in the cafeteria. If they are yours please come to the main office to claim them.
Anyone interested in a Yoga Club, please meet after school today near the gyms.

Announcements for Tuesday, Day 4
Attention Independent Physical Education students: There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday Feb. 5th in the cafeteria at 3:00.
There will be a Model UN meeting Thursday, Feb. 5 at 3:10 PM in room 304W.
Attention Juniors – if you are attending the Junior dinner – there will be a meeting this Thursday in Mr. Matute’ room 312West right after school. You must attend.
Attention Stage Crew: Our regular meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, February 4th after school in room 515A with Mr. Dileo. We will be discussing the musical so all members MUST ATTEND.
There will be a brief Bowling Club meeting in Mr. Spirelli’s room TODAY at 3pm regarding our trip tomorrow. If you have not handed in your slips and your money please do so by tomorrow. If you need permission slips please stop by Mr. Spirelli’s room ASAP.

Attention skiers going on the weekend trip. The following students have not made their final payment to Ms. Noll and must do so by the end of the week or they will lose their deposit and their place on the trip. Please get your $160 check to Ms. Noll ASAP or leave it in her mailbox.

“Attention all High School Orchestra string players: There is a Night Rehearsal TONIGHT at 7:00 PM at John Paulding. Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion players will be joining tonight’s rehearsal from 8:00 to 8:30 PM – BUT, string players still need to arrive by 7:00 PM – Thanks!”

Attention Girls Track Team: Please hand in your uniform to Mrs. King. She will be in school on Odd days. All uniforms MUST be collected by Feb. 5th.

LET AN EXPERIENCED EDUCATOR GIVE YOU TIPS, AND ANSWERS SUCH QUESTIONS AS: WHEN TO BEGIN APPLYING, HOW TO PICK THE RIGHT SCHOOL, AND HOW TO MANAGE COSTS. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR TEENS, PARENTS, AND ANYONE WHO WANTS TO LEARN MORE. REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED.
