In honor of PI Day, Sunday, March 14th, 2010, we will be celebrating with some math competitions, a t-shirt contest, and PI Day fact of the day. Today’s fact:
Wednesday: During the famed O.J. Simpson trial, there were arguments between defense attorney Robert Blasier and an FBI agent about the actual value of pi, seemingly to reveal flaws in the FBI agent’s intellect.
The African-American Heritage Club will meet on Thursday at 3:05 pm in room 305South.
There will be a Model UN Club meeting on Thursday March 11 at 3:05 PM in room 304W. ALL Members MUST check in.
Attention Juniors:
A reminder that the money for the Junior Dinner is PAST DUE!! You MUST have your payment in by this Friday, March 12th at the absolute latest. Money can not be accepted any later. Please bring your payment to either Mr. Spirelli or Mrs. O’Brien by the end of the week! You MUST also have your contract turned in along with your table assignments by this Friday as well.
Attention Juniors: Letters of Invitation and Applications for Membership have been sent out to juniors who have qualified for membership in the National English Honor Society. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. McChoi in 311 West. Completed applications are due by 3pm on Friday, March 19th.
Hey Hollow! The annual Talent show is this Friday @ 7:30 PM. Tickets will go on sale on this Wednesday. Look for the announcement on Wednesday on who, when and where you can buy them. Ticket Prices will be $5 for students and $7 for anyone else.
The ESL Club’s ice skating trip has been rescheduled for Friday, March 12 from 6:45 to 9:30 PM. Please see Ms. McGraw or Mrs. Hull for more information and a permission slip.
