AWARDS NITE TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE OUTSIDE THE CAFE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 4 AND MONDAY, JUNE 7 DURING THE LUNCH PERIODS ONLY. PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THIS IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADDITIONAL TICKETS.

PLEASE COME TO MR. ALTERBAUM’S OFFICE AND PICK UP YOUR LIST OF OUTSTANDING DEBTS. THESE MUST BE PAID INORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR CAP AND GOWN FOR GRADUATION. IT IS SUGGESTED YOU DO THIS IMMEDIATELY IN ORDER TO AVOID THE LONG, VERY LONG LINES ON THIS DAY AND ALL THE CONFUSION THAT COULD RESULT ON A DAY WHICH IS VERY MEMORABLE.

Alcohol Awareness Month Facts – High School
1. When it comes to alcohol and other drugs, it may feel like “everyone’s doing it” but that’s just not true. The truth is many high school students are making healthy decisions about avoiding alcohol and other drugs. For instance 70% of high school sophomores do not consume alcohol regularly. 84% of high school sophomores do not smoke marijuana. (Monitoring the Future 2009)

Attention all High School Orchestra, Band and Chorus students as well as all High School Drama participants: The Performing Arts Awards Ceremony will be held this Wednesday night, June 2nd at 6:00 PM in our Auditorium with a reception to be held AFTER the ceremony.

The ESL Club will be going swimming this Sunday, June 6 at the Tarrytown YMCA from 5:45 PM to 7:15 PM. The cost is $5.00. Please see Ms. McGraw or Mrs. Hull for information and a permission slip.

There will be Varsity cheerleading tryouts for fall football cheerleading on Monday, June 7th –and Thursday, June 10th at 3:30 pm near the high school gym.
