The African-American Heritage Club will meet on Thursday at 3:05 pm in room 304East.

Attention students: Are you in need of community service hours? Do you like math? Do you like working with kids? See Mrs. Walsh in the math office to volunteer to help out at March Math Madness- a 5 week program that will take place on Saturdays in March at WI. The program will meet from 8:45-12 each Saturday. Students will play games that help them prepare for their state tests in April, and the administrators have requested some high school volunteers. You can volunteer for any or all Saturdays- whatever you can do would be great.

Attention Film Club
Our next meeting will be this Wednesday, January 11th right after school in room 515A. New members are always welcome.

Libby is a huge Aventura aficionado-she has posters all over her room and has seen them five times in concert.

There will be a short Model UN meeting on Tuesday at 3:05 PM in room 304W to discuss the February Conference at UN headquarters.

There will be a brief meeting in Mr. Spirelli’s room for all baseball players attending PRO SWING workouts.

On Friday, January 6th, the boys track team competed in the Rockland Invitational at Rockland Community College. The 4 x 200m team consisting of Dom Onwe, Will Stallings, Darien James and Mike Valentin ran 1:40. Dom Onwe also competed in the 55m dash running 6.9 seconds. Our next meet is this Sunday, January 15th, at the Armory.

There is a Yearbook Club meeting today, Monday 1/9 @ 3:00 in room 201C.
All members please attend. We will be taking the photo for the yearbook today.

Attention Film Club
Our next meeting will be this Wednesday, January 11th right after school in room 515A. New members are always welcome.

Attention English Honor Society Members: There will be a meeting on Monday, January 9th at 3pm in Room 311 West. Attendance is expected. Any questions, see Mrs. McChoi.

There will be a JV & Varsity Baseball on Thursday, 1/5, after school in Mr. Spirelli’s room.

On Wednesday, January 4th, the boys track team competed in the Dendy Invitational. Danny Elia placed 5th in the high jump. Darien James led the way for the sprinters running 25.7 in the 200. Christian Zhinin led the distance crew with a 2:16 800m run. Our next meet is Friday, January 6th at Rockland Community College.

Attention all Boys Lacrosse Players:
Our next indoor winter workout will be this Saturday, January 7th at 10:30am in the Middle School Gym.

All members of the African-American Heritage Club are to report to the auditorium immediately after school today to take club photos. Groups are being photographed in alphabetical order so please be on time.

ATTENTION students in Upward Bound. Midterm review will be held this Saturday at Mercy College. Please meet at the Tarrytown train station at 9:00 a.m.

Attention members of Clubs and Honor Societies: Club photos will be tomorrow at 3:00PM in the auditorium. Honor Societies will go first and then Clubs in alpha order.

Art Club will be cancelled this week due to club photos. All members report to the auditorium at 3:00PM for photos.

Our new puppy is so witless that she is barely trainable.

In one of the most incredible performances in Sleepy Hollow girl’s basketball history, Jamie Bucci scored 40 points in our victory on 12/22/11 at Eastchester High School. The final score was 67 – 55. Along with her 40 points, Jamie added 6 rebounds & 5 assists. Her shooting included 11-19 from the field and 15 of 16 from the free throw line. Also contributing in the win was Daniella Carissimo with 9 points and 14 rebounds, Grace Carr with 11 points and 5 rebounds & Rebecca Leeper with some great defensive pressure off the bench. We enter the Holiday break with a record of 5-3 and 4-1 in league play. Our next contest is on 1/4/12 at Riverside HS at 4:45.

Anyone who did not receive their candy grams can pick them up today in 317W.

On Friday, December 16th, Katherine Doyle competed in the Jim Mitchell Invitational. She ran a personal best in the 1000m running 3:16. She also placed 7th overall in a very competitive race.
