Interested in Purchasing a Middle School Yearbook for 2007 – 2008 School Year!! The cost of the yearbook is $32.00 In order to secure a yearbook you must submit a $16.00 deposit. We will only order yearbooks for students who bring in a deposit. You can still bring in your deposit. You will not be able to get a yearbook, no extras will be ordered!!

Any 8th grade students interested in having your baby picture in the yearbook – please submit it to Ms. Ressa by Friday Jan. 11th.. You will not be getting them back so please scan the picture before you turn it in –and put your name on the back.

We had another tough one yesterday at Home against Irvington. The Horsemen had the lead in the first quarter with two quick points from Jack Schnog. Irvington picked it up in the 2nd Quarter with a 8-0 run. We got some baskets from Edwin Lebron & Alex Rodriguez who finished with 8 points each. Jack Schnog led all scorers with a game high of 12 points. Owen Leggio, Tom Pardo, Ronnie Munoz, & Alberto Sosa all added two points.

The Horsemen will continue to improve in their next game against Pearl River on Tuesday.

Don’t forget to sign up for variety shows audition which will be held on Friday at 3:00 in the cafeteria… Even if you did not sign up you can still come and audition

“Do you have skills? Do you have talent? Do you dance, sing, or act? Prove it to everyone you know by performing in the Sleepy Hollow Middle School Variety Show. This event will showcase any Middle School student who has a successful audition. THE AUDITIONS ARE on Friday, January 11 in the Cafeteria. The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the main office. The show isn’t until February 13th, but if it’s going to be good, we all have to start preparing NOW!!! We are looking for singers, rock bands, rappers, dancers, and other unique talents. If you have further questions, please see Mrs. Trenczer or leave a message for her in the main office.

The hollow helper club will be meeting tomorrow morning, Thursday Jan 10th at 8:00 am in Room 12S.

A new session for Cinemania will start on January 8th. Please see Ms. Ressa for the list of movies and a permission slip…Ask the students from last session - the movies were great…You really travel the world without leaving your seat!! Only 10 seats available so see Ms. Ressa asap..

This Sunday’s Ski Trip (January 6th) has been cancelled due to not enough students signing up for the trip. If a student signed up for the trip and paid - please see Mrs. Hickey for their checks back
