The African-American Heritage Club is sponsoring an Essay Contest. The deadline for submission of entries is March 17. First prize: $75.00 cash; 2nd Prize: $35.00 gift certificate to Appleby’s; 3rd prize: Movie Passes for including Popcorn and Beverages. Please see your English teachers or Dr. Burton for flyers with other information including choice of topic. Please see Dr. Burton in the Guidance area if there are any questions.
DON’T FORGET, THERE WILL BE A BRIEF INFORMATIONAL MEETING ABOUT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAY, FRANKENSTEIN, TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL IN THE CAFETERIA. AUDITIONS WILL BE NEXT MONDAY AND TUESDAY. ALL MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!
Members of the African-American Heritage Club and the Great Potential Program must turn in your permission slips today, no later than tomorrow, for the trip to the performance at SUNY Purchase. (This should be repeated tomorrow during morning announcements).
JV Girls’ Lacrosse will have practice at Morse at 3:30 today.
The deadline for essay entries is next Monday, March 17th. Please turn your entries in to your English teachers of to Dr. Burton. Dr. Burton’s office is in the guidance department in the area of the old High School main office. No late entries will be accepted.
