Student government will be hosting our first dance of the year on February 10th from 5:00 – 7:00 in the middle school gym…Tickets will be sold at the door for 3.00 and we will be selling refreshments. School Dress Code is in affect anyone not wearing proper school attire will not be allowed in.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY FOR YEARBOOK CHANGES, SUCH AS SHORTENING YOUR F”IRST NAME OR LAST NAME. YOU MUST, MUST, MUST SEE MRS. LINTEAU BEFORE 3 PM TODAY.”

3rd payment for DC is due next week there are a lot of students who still owe 2nd payment please bring in payments if anyone is having problems with payments please see Ms. Ressa or Ms. Shrinsky immediately.

The Variety Show is on February 8th at 7:00 PM and tickets will be sold at the door. It’s $5.00 for students and $6.00 for adults. The proceeds go to the Music Boosters.”

The African American Heritage Club will be selling boxes of chocolate for Valentine’s Day. We will begin to take orders on Monday through Friday during each lunch period in the cafeteria. Boxes of Chocolates cost $3.00 and will be distributed on Valentine’s Day.

Earlier this week the girls modified basketball team had their best game yet versus Hastings. Josephine galeotifiore scored a season high 14 points to lead the offense along with strong play by marissa fortugno and Katy bender. Whitnefer alejo and Brianna zucco had very strong defensive games an helped the team keep the game close through 5 quarters. Their last home game is next Thursday

The Middle School Variety Show is Wednesday, February 8th at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Admission is 5.00 for students, 6.00 for adults, children under 3 are free. There will be dancing, singing, rare/unique talents, and live rock bands!

The ESL Club will be having an ice skating excursion tonight from 6:45-9:30. We will be meeting in front of the gym at 6:45. The cost of the trip is $12 and includes the ice skates, the cost of skating, and the bus. See Mrs. Hull in the high school or Ms. McGraw in 300S for a permission slip.

Mrs. Strippoli’s ELA class will be holding a bake sale today after school outside the main office…Bring money for treats….

Any RESPONSIBLE students interested in being on the stage crew for the Middle School musical should meet in the cafeteria today right after school for a ten minute meeting with Mr. Royston and the stage manager. He will be handing out scripts and the schedule.
